Moving can be stressful and complicated. We make transferring your vehicle into Pennsylvania hassle free.

What do I need to have?

If you do not have a loan on your vehicle(s) you will need:

-The title for your vehicle

-Pennsylvania Driver’s License and

-Insurance card showing your updated Pennsylvania address (contact your insurance company or agent to update this)

If you do have a loan on your vehicle we will need to request the title from your lender. Some banks will send the title to us upon request of the customer. However, most will require us to send a title request to them.

To request the title we will need the following information:

-Email or fax number for their title department (the bank will provide this to you when you contact them)

-The year, make, model and VIN of your vehicle (this is usually found on your registration card)

Once we receive this information, we will send the request and let you know that it has been sent.

Please note that it takes approximately 2-4 weeks for us to receive the title but this depends on the bank.

Unfortunately, we have no access to bank systems or titles and cannot expedite this process. PennDOT does not allow us to accept electronic printouts, electronic titles, certified copies, or anything that is not the physical title. For any inquiries or requests to expedite the release of your title, please contact your bank.

We will contact you as soon as we receive the title to schedule your appointment. We can often get you in same day. An estimate of the fees due will also be provided.

Once you leave our office, you will have a registration card or pink slip, a Pennsylvania plate, and your new title will be sent to your bank (or you if there is no loan).

The last step will be to visit a state inspection station. You will have 10 days from the date we issue the plate to get your inspection sticker.
